I’ve always been fascinated by food - how it can heal, fuel, and nurture. That passion became deeply personal when I decided to start a family. With time and energy on my side, I immersed myself in nutrition research, planned my meals with intention, and enjoyed every step of the process. It felt like a part-time job, one I truly enjoyed, because I believed so strongly in the power of nourishment.
Then came real life. Three years later, after walking through three full-term pregnancies, including the devastating loss of my firstborn daughter, and welcoming three healthy babies (including twins) - I found myself in a very different place. My body needed more care than ever before, yet I no longer had the luxury of time or energy to give it. In those postpartum days, when I needed nourishment most, I had no capacity to make it happen.
Thankfully, I was surrounded by a village - family and friends who showed up with food, babysitting help, and love. But I couldn’t stop wondering: What about the parents who don’t have that kind of support? How are they supposed to eat well, feel their best, and recover while caring for a newborn (or two)?
That question became the seed of Aiyana. As a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach drawing from my own pregnancy and postpartum journey, I saw a gap in accessible support - and I knew I had to help fill it. I know the demands of this season can be overwhelming. That’s why I wanted to make it simple, by offering ready-to-eat meals that are nourishing, grounding, and full of love. “Aiyana” means eternal blossom or forever flowering, a reminder of growth, transformation, and renewal. To me, it’s the essence of becoming a parent and the power of healing through food.
